Join Akron-based hip-hop/alternative rock artist Floco Torres and friends at the Grog Shop for a show that will undoubtedly include his newly released single “Hold Up,” as well as selections from his extensive catalog and perhaps even a preview from his upcoming album Nobody Cares News, due out in August. It’s his first for Georgia-based ALo Records.
“Addressing the many facets of our emotional capacity may take a lifetime to break down, but I think it’s important to reach the future we all say that we want,” Torres asserts, describing the theme of his new work. “For now though, deep down, we really don’t care that much and I want to talk about it.”
Luv Abstract, Jean P MC and Sankuro will join him at the Grog Shop. Tickets are $7 in advance, $10 at the door.
