Join the Clevelanders for Public Transit (CPT) in public square on Wed 7/17 from 4:30-6:30pm to talk to RTA riders and promote CPT’s campaigns.
Those who avidly ride public transit know the frustrations of high fares, infrequent or inaccessible lines, and persistent neglect from local and state government funders. CPT members want to get into specifics with what riders want to see.
You can join in the transit-oriented fun by meeting fellow enthusiasts for this rider outreach, and then stick around for the CPT Outreach Committee meeting from 7-8pm. The recent RTA system redesign asked riders to consider increased frequency or increased coverage over the Greater Cleveland region. Discussions of transit also dominated conversations around the Ohio.
CPT members are meeting by the fountain in Public Square and will reconvene in their offices in Tower City.
