Although others are coming online, Cleveland Culinary Launch & Kitchen, now celebrating its 6th anniversary, was the first major incubator space where entrepreneurs with an idea for a new food project could book time, equipment, storage and work space to fill in that gap between whipping it up in their kitchen and taking on the overhead of their own storefront. Many of the value-added food products you may have discovered at farmers market were made there. In addition, it offers classes, business consulting and more to help edible entrepreneurs be successful.
Curious? Cleveland Culinary Launch is hosting its Spring Showcase so people can check out the next generation of products being created. You might encounter anything from donuts to salsa to applesauce to cole slaw. You’ll have the chance to sample and buy the products as well as to enter a raffle featuring baskets filled with locally made stuff. There will be music and a cash bar to add to the festival environment.
