Join the writers and readers of Literary Cleveland for the nonprofit’s spring mixer, taking place at Nighttown’s Secret Garden Patio. There you can partake of appetizers and a cash while mingling and making friends with others who love the written word as much as you do. There will be some readings as well — local writers, Ryan Rowland, Lara Lillibridge and Mary Grimm (pictured) will share some work, along with writers who signed up for early-evening open mic slots.
Independent locally owned bookstore Appletree Books, which is right in the next block, will be toting over some books to create a pop-up bookshop. It’s free for members, and nonmembers can purchase a membership at the door and support a good cause!
