It’s time to get those bikes tuned up for the season and head out to get some fresh air. One of the best ways to get yourself tuned up is to join the Slow Roll Cleveland weekly rides, which start this week and take place every Monday through October 29.
This isn’t the hotshot Critical Mass ride where you might feel guilty if you haven’t spent thousands on your bike and accessories. This is a comfortably paced ten-mile ride for all ages and all types of cyclists, intended as much for camaraderie and seeing a Cleveland neighborhood (it moved to different parts of the city each week) as working up a major sweat.
The first ride takes off from Ohio City’s Market Square Park across from the West Side Market. People are advised to arrive at 6:30pm for the 7pm roll-out. It’s free and open to all.
