Quire Cleveland & Les Delices Join Musical Forces for French Baroque Program

Two of Cleveland’s premiere small classic ensembles are getting together for a series of upcoming concerts. Professional choral group Quite Cleveland and baroque ensemble Les Délices will perform “Let the Heavens Rejoice!,” an evening of French baroque music, featuring rarely performed sacred works by Jean-Philippe Rameau and Jean-Joseph de Mondonville.

Scott Metcalfe, director of Boston vocal group Blue Heron, is the guest conductor for the program. Tenor Owen McIntosh, baritone Jeff Strauss, and sopranos Elena Mullins and Sarah Coffman will be featured soloists.

The musicians will play at St. Noel’s Church in Willoughby Hills Fri 4/27, at Lakewood Congregational Church on Sat 4/28, and at Plymouth Church UCC in Shaker Heights on Sun 4/29.

 Tickets are $25-$35. Student tickets are $5.
