Technology holds the future, and OHTec is promoting and driving that future. Founded in 1998, the industry organization has hundreds of members working in all aspects of the technology industry. It brings them together at its 12th Annual Tech Week, partnering with more than two dozen tech organizations and companies to present seven days’ worth of events of all types including panels, speakers, networking opportunities and competitions for money to execute ideas. There’s something geared for everyone interested in tech, from students to executives to entrepreneurs.
Among the events are a job fair at the Independence Civic Center on Wed 4/18 and the centerpiece event: 12th Annual Best of Tech awards taking place at the Tenk West Bank building in the Flats Thu 4/19 @ 5-9pm, and many more, taking place at venues all over northeast Ohio. There’s even a “Tech 4 All” event on Sat 4/21 @ 9am-1pm at Corporate College East, an open house for middle and high school students, parents and adults looking to change careers.
