Group Show at Shaker Community Gallery Addresses How Women Protect Themselves

Shaker Community Gallery’s new show is called Armor: A Female Perspective on Strength and Protection. Curator/artist Margaret Stamm has assembled work by seven artists with northeast Ohio connection, who explore themes of art as protective in a variety of media. The artists include Jordan Fine, Natalie Grieshammer, Meghana Karnik, Brittany Petures, Jess Sikon and Lynnea Holland-Weiss.

The show opens with a reception Fri 4/4 @ 6pm, with a short presentation @ 7pm. It continues through Wed 5/16 at the gallery located in Christ Episcopal Church. It’s free and open to the public Monday-Friday @ 9m-4pm and Saturday @ noon-4pm.
