Graphic Artist Stephen Cup Addresses Our Divisive Politics in “Breaking Point” at Waterloo Arts

Fri 4/6 @ 6-9PM

Pittsburgh-born, New York-based artist Stephen Cup’s cartoon-like graphic illustrations address complex and serious issues: “How are we maneuvering through the emotional landscape created by our current government?  Are we plodding by, perpetuating the status quo? Or are we actively engaging ourselves and community by generating change?”

His exhibit, Breaking Point, opening at Waterloo Arts during Walk All Over Waterloo, looks at the divisiveness and instability of our current times in vivid, confrontational images. The show was curated by the Maria Neil Art Project. It’s free and open to all.
