Chef Michael Symon Talks About His New BBQ Cookbook at the Parma Snow Library

(ABC/ Craig Sjodin)

Sat 4/28 @ 2PM

Michael Symon is undeniably Cleveland’s biggest celebrity chef. He established his bona fides in the 1990s, then racked up a large local fan club with his destination restaurants Lola and Lolita. Reality TV shows such as Iron Chef made him a national star.

And of course, there are cookbooks, a whole flock of them. His latest is Michael Symon’s Playing With Fire, featuring more than 70 barbecue and grilling recipes you carnivores will love, inspired by his latest restaurant “concept” (do you hate that term as much as I do?), Mabel’s BBQ.

Symon will be talking about his book at the Parma-Snow Library. The main auditorium is already sold out, but more seating is available in a simulcast room.  And any empty seats in the main room will be filled with people from the overflow room in order of registration.

The $25 ticket includes a copy of Michael Symon’s Playing With Fire and a donation to the Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation. Mac’s Backs Coventry will have additional books available for purchase.
