Know the Code: Documentary on Progressive Hiring Screens at Cleveland Tech Elevator

Amen to this multi-dimensional quote, found on Tech Elevator Cleveland’s website. Think of it as a primer for the organization’s networking event and screening of the award-winning documentary Code, which focuses on the egregiously low numbers of women and minorities working in the computer industry.

Seems that #TimesUp in tech, too, because filmmakers ask audiences to consider more than just gender and race/ethnicity equality; they make the statement men and women share the responsibility for reducing and eliminating these gaps in tech.

Running time is about one hour. Admission is free but register for the event online.
