Inlet Dance Debuts New Work Based on a Children’s Book at Playhouse Square

Wed 3/21 @ 7PM

Inlet Dance Theatre’s got a brand new dance in the works, which it will premiere for one night only at Playhouse Square’s Ohio Theatre.

“What Do You Do With an Idea?” is based on the popular children’s book by Kobi Yamada and illustrator Mae Besom, published in 2014. It tells the story of a child who has an idea, and as the child becomes more confident, the idea expands as well.

The work was choreographed by company executive/artistic director Bill Wade, in collaboration with the dancers. Jeremy Allen of Cleveland’s FiveOne Experimental Orchestra provided the original score; Dee Perry provided narration.

Tickets are $10 at the Playhouse Square box office: playhousesquare.org or 216-241-6000.
