It’ll soon be time for the Akron-based Crafty Marts to start up again. But to kick off its year, the group is hosting a Gin & Jazz benefit, inviting guests to come dress in the garb of the 1920a bootleg era.
You won’t have to drink bootleg liquor though — the cash bar at the Tangier sells a full selection of totally legal drinks. The Dave Sterner Trio will be providing live jazz for dancing, and there will be a costume contest so you might want to go all out when you dress up. There will also be a silent auction and a wine pull and a beer pull. And tickets are only $10 (general admission) and $25 (VIP).
