Country musician Radney Foster initially found work in Nashville as a songwriter before he met fellow songwriter Bill Lloyd and formed the duo Foster & Lloyd in 1986. They had nine hits on the country charts before going their separate ways in 1990 and launching solo careers.
Foster’s has yielded just under a dozen albums including last year’s For You to See the Stars, which included a book of short stories. He’s also done some acting and, since 2010, some reunion shows with Lloyd.
He’ll be bringing his songwriting and storytelling talents to Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Happy Days Lodge. Akron singer/songwriter/guitarist and scene catalyst Ryan Humbert will warm things up for him with his own repertoire of poignant tunes. Tickets are $21.
