Come down to the main branch of the Cleveland Public Library to celebrate the World Day of Puppetry. There the Puppetry Guild of Northeastern Ohio and Puppeteers of America will join the library in hosting an all-day event with activities and demonstration to appeal to both adults and kids.
Take in performances by Chicago’s Melikin Puppet Theater, Erie’s National Marionette Theater, and Cleveland’s Great Lakes National Pupper Theater and Nancy Sander’s Puppets with Pizzazz. Take in a workshop or class to learn how puppet magic is created. See an exhibit of puppets from around the world and visit the puppet store to buy a puppet and get started with your own puppet theater in your neighborhood
The event is free and open to all.
