Around this time of the year, you practically have to hide under your bed to get away from all the Bach birthday celebrations, assuming you’d want to. For a lot of music lovers, it’s their favorite time of year.
Bach is 333 this year, and among those celebrating is Arts Renaissance Tremont, whose celebrant is Cleveland Orchestra principal cellist Mark Kosower. He’ll perform the matinee concert at Pilgrim Church where he’ll play Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 n G Major, his Violin Sonata No. 3 in C Major, his Cello Suit No. 4 in E-flat Major and his Violin Partita No. 2 in D minor. (Kosower arranged the violin pieces for cello).
The concert is free, although of course they welcome donations.
