Canton’s Gervasi Vineyard is devoting an entire weekend to that most divine of all ingestibles — and we don’t mean wine. We’re talking that essential food group, chocolate!
Oh, there will be wine too, of course. On Friday evening, you can enjoy a chocolate stroll, where, at various locations around the estate, you’ll find wine and chocolate pairings such as a chocolate cocktail with a cocoa-rubbed pork belly. Tickets are $24, and you can have dinner before or after, depending on whether you like your chocolate as an appetizer or a dessert.
On Saturday, join the wine steward at 12:30pm for Gervasi wines paired with Waggoner chocolates. And on Sunday from 2:30-4:30 there’s a truffle-making party with the Bom, whom you have probably seen offering their samples of liquor-laced sweets at various events around town including 7th Street Studios Third Fridays. The $36 ticket price includes 20 all ingredients and supplies and about truffles to take home, unless you eat them all there!
