Artist reception: Sun 3/25 @ 3:30-5PM
Since 2008, Mary Urbas, the director at the Gallery at Lakeland Community College, has curated and organized the Woman Show, featuring talented women artists, mostly from the area, working in a variety of media.
Woman XI, which opens this week, features some well-known local artists including Tricia Kamen, Hadley K. Connor, Laurel Herbold, Deborah Silver, JenMarieZeleznak and Judy Takacs, as well as some who may be a revelation. Once again, most are from around northeast Ohio, although a few come from as far away as Arizona.
Meet some of the artists in the gallery at the artist reception on Sun 3/25 @ 3:30-5PM. The show and the reception are free and open to all.
Gallery hours are Monday-Friday @ 9am-9pm, Saturday & Sunday @ 9pm-5pm. The show runs through Fri 3/30.
