Pianist Mitsuko Uchida and the Cleveland Orchestra Reprise Their Mozart Collaboration

Thu 2/8@7:30PM

Fri 2/9 @ 8PM

Sat 2/10 @ 8PM

Cleveland Orchestra audiences just can’t seem to get enough of pianist/conductor Mitsuko Uchida and her renditions of Mozart’s piano concertos. She was artist in residence with the Orchestra from 2002-2007 when she performed and conducted (from the keyboard) all 27 Mozart piano concertos, later recording them with the Orchestra for the second time. One of those recordings won a Grammy.

She’s been back many times since, and now she’s back again to perform and conduct concertos No. 5 and No. 27. The program also includes selections from Handel’s Water Music. Concertmaster William Preucil will act as leader.

Tickets range from $21-$165.
