Ohio Shakespeare Festival Stages 17th-Century Moliere Comedy “Scapin”

Fri 3/2-Sun 3/18

Scapin the Schemer by 17th century French comic playwright Moliere features a lead character known for his ruses and lies and his love of and skill at manipulating people, telling them outrageous stories they swallow as easily as a Trump supporter believing that Alex Jones is a truth-teller. Yet in the end, he appears to have used his deceitfulness for positive outcomes.

The Ohio Shakespeare Festival will be mounting the outrageous farce at its winter home at Greystone Hall in downtown Akron. Tickets are $15-$50.
