Few people are more equipped to talk about Cleveland’s history than Dr. John Grabowski, long-time historian at the Western Reserve Historical Society and editor of the Encyclopedia of Cleveland History.
He’s now got a new book out as part of the WRHS’s 150th anniversary. Cleveland A to Z: Historian Essential for Newcomers and residents in Northeast Ohio features 72 short, easy-to-consume essays about intriguing topics related to Cleveland’s history, each featuring historical and contemporary photos and links to vetted historical websites.
Grabowski will be talking about the new book, Cleveland’s history and the resources available to explore it at the Happy Dog in Gordon Square. It’s free and open to all.
