Buffalo, NY guitarist/keyboard player/vocalist Lucky Peterson plays a fusion of blues, R&B and jazz. Now 53, he was one of those ubiquitous prodigies who seem to crop up regularly on the blues scene, only he as younger than most, beginning to perform at the age of five. His adult career has produced more than two dozen albums for respected labels such as Alligator, Verve, Blue Thumb and the British JSP Records. Most recently (last year) he released a tribute to the influential Hammond B-3 organist Jimmy Smith on Jazz Village Records.

He’ll be performing at Nighttown, where he’ll be joined by his vocalist wife Tamara Tramell and bassist Kip Reed. Tickets are $20.
