Sat 2/10 & Sun 2/11 @ 11AM-4PM
The Cleveland Metroparks’ annual Birds of Prey Weekend highlights hawks, falcons, your ex (sorry, we like to pander to folks with Valentine’s Day issues) in the scenic wonder of the Rocky River Reservation.
Hikes outside the Nature Center will go in search of daytime owl habitats. There will be bird-themed ice-sculpting by Dave Zajac, a presentation by the Ohio School of Falconry (falconry is really riding the lengthy cape-tails of Game of Thrones now, you bet), and close-up meet-and-greets with live feathered guests from several participating wild-bird rehab clinics.
Admission is free.
