The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra will be sharing the love from downtown Akron to downtown Cleveland with a pair of evenings titled “Live in Cleveland.”
The big band will be joined by noted Cleveland-based sax player Erne Krivda and vocalist Helen Welch for an evening of classic love songs, ranging from music theater greats Rogers & Hart to the Beatles.
They’ll perform Thursday at Akron’s Blu Jazz +. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. On Friday they’ll be at PlayhouseSquare’s Ohio Theatre. Tickets are $35-$55.
