Black History Month Gets Shaken and Stirred in University Circle

Sat 2/10 @ 1-4PM

The Cleveland History Center, subsidiary of the venerable Western Reserve Historical Society, delved into its cellars and brought up History On Tap as a presentation of special guests and activities inspired by Cleveland’s past, paired with hors d’oeuvres and happy hour drinks.

Last year was the first cocktail of History on Tap mixed with Black History Month. For this second serving, presentations have the subtitle “My Corner of Cleveland,” with an emphasis on the neighborhoods in and around Cleveland became traditional black strongholds, such as Hough, Glenville and Cudell — their pasts, presents and futures.

Admission is $7 in advance, $10 at the door, or $5 for WRHS members or students with valid ID. Despite the drink tickets, it is an all-ages event.
