Are you all set to kick off the 2018 burlesque season with Cleveland’s Le Femme Mystique? Good, because they are rarin’ to go with their first event of the year, the 7th annual Sweetheart Showcase Strip-O-Rama.
This show at the Beachland Ballroom will pay tribute to classic old burlesque films that starred legends like Lily St Cyr, Betty Paige, Vicki Lynn and Georgia Sothern. Performers include special feature Lily Von Matterhorn, Miss Holly Grail and Bella Sin, plus Dottie Comma, Bon Bon Voyage, Georgia Pearl, Carlotta Cockatoo, Carly Üninemclite, Queer Abby and the winter 2018 class from the Cleveland Burlesque Academy.
Keeping the evening moving at a fast clip and entertaining the audience between numbers will be comedian/author Ken Schneck, a favorite of local burlesque audiences for his ability to engage the crowd and amp up the enthusiasm level. Expect him to ask nosy questions about your love life from the stage — all in good fun!
