Sax player Ernie Krivda is one of the most eminent jazz musicians living in northeast Ohio, with a 50-year career behind him and seemingly more to come each year. He’s a tireless performer, playing with ensembles large (his Fat Tuesday Band) and small (his Ernie Krivda Quartet).
He’s also made dozens of records, won the Cleveland Arts Prize and is a educator passionate about passing the torch to upcoming generations. His Generation Next Quartet, which he’ll bring to the Beachland Tavern, is all about cross-generational energy that brings out the best from all sides.
