Jonah Koslen first came to the attention of Cleveland music fans as one of the original members of the Michael Stanley Band, part of the acoustic trio that gave birth to MSB in 1974.
He appeared on the band’s first three albums before moving on in 1977 to form his own ensembles, Breathless and the Heroes, in the late ’70s and early-mid ’80s. He gave fans a lot of beloved music in the process, including “Nothing’s Going to Change My Mind,” “Walk Right In,” “Nobody Leaves This Song Alive” and “Strike Up the Band,” a tune still popular with Michael Stanley fans.
He’ll reprise that music in two shows at the Music Box Supper Club where he’ll be joined by guitarist Alan Greene, who was a member of Breathless, and Greene’s frequent performing partner Tom Odegard. He’ll most likely perform a few tunes from his new album Partially Light as well.
