Reflection

It’s a good time to stop and reflect. Are things going in the right direction? Is your community moving upwards? What role can you play in that?

Often art helps point the way. Especially local work by local artists. They can tell you what it means to be alive right here and right now. So check out Reflections of Cleveland at E11even2 at 78th Street Studios, for which kayaks were acquired to get a unique view of our homeland. Or witness the scholarship winners of the Cleveland Cello Society in performance at BOP STOP. Catch a glimpse of the future of rock and roll at the High School Rock Off at the Rock Hall.

Reflect on CPT’s Entry Point, a 3-day mini-fest of works in progress. Drink wine and make a sweater purse at Sip N Sew. Maybe do a fundraiser this week: Brite Winter Warmer to raise money for their Feb fest, Bayarts’s Beer, Brats and Bingo “funraiser,” the Launchhouse Bootstrap Bash for aspiring entrepreneurs. Cleveland’s finest will shine in the reflection. –Thomas Mulready
