The Akron Art Museum’s current show Heavy Metal is a group show in which artists explore the various properties and implications of metal, using various metals and materials that resemble them.
One of the artists in the show, Kathy Buszkiewicz, who is a professor at the Cleveland Institute of Art working in metals and jewelry, will be doing one of a series of artist-led gallery talks relating to this show in which artists in the how talk about their work and what inspires them. It’s free and open to all.
