Indoors & Outdoors Fun Returns to Geauga Park District at Frozen Fest

Sun 1/28 @ 11AM-4PM

Frozen is what you’ll likely be if you spend too much time outdoors at this time of year, so naturally, that’s when the Geauga Park District celebrates its fourth annual Frozen Fest.

Seriously, the family event offers a variety of fun activities, some of them even indoors if you need to warm up. Outdoors there’ll be live reindeer and Siberian Husky sled dogs, ice carving, snowshoeing, hiking and the chance to explore a wigwam.

Indoors there’ll be a winter wildlife display, a nature-inspired art exhibit, “ornate” face painting, make-and-take crafts, free cocoa and cookies and live music by the Oak Island Skunk Jumpers. Throughout the venue you can meet winter princesses, and other cold-weather characters such as “a famous snowman.” There’ll be additional food for sale as well as gift-type items in the tree tops Nature Store.

Given the high attendance, there will be overflow parking locations and additional free shuttles. Go to the website for a map. It’s all free.
