Yes, many of us reflexively complain about Cleveland winters but let’s face it — sitting in front of a fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate is one of life’s great pleasures.
You and your whole family can do this at Family Fireside Night at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes. The theme of the evening is Fables in the Forest, and it will include fantastic stories told by environmental educators and song by Michael “Frogman” Goldman from the Columbus Audubon Society. Face-painting and crafts will help keep the kids diverted and busy, and the hot chocolate will be accompanied by winter-themed snacks.
