A Daughter of Modern African History Speaks in Berea

As part of its Martin Luther King holiday week celebrations, Baldwin Wallace University welcomes Nontombi Naomi Tutu to deliver a keynote address at the Kleist Center for Art & Drama.

As a child of the legendary Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Nontombi Naomi was born into activism and reconciliation, both inside and outside her native South Africa.

She is an educator at the University of Cape Town and has taught at the University of Hartford and Brevard College in North Carolina. She had been a consultant in efforts to stop violence, both political and domestic.

Admission is free to the general public.
