Wed 1/17-Wed 2/21 @ 4-5PM

Mon 1/22-Mon 2/26 @ 4-5PM

Young local musician/actress/behind-the-scenes theater person Emma Shepard is the founder of the brand new Cleveland Youth Theater Project, with the goal of creating affordable theater classes for young people.

Each series of classes, held at the Magalen Art Space in Slavic Village, is six weeks long and ends with a performance for family and friends.

She has two series of classes coming up. Intro to Improv for grade 6-9 focuses on games and team-building exercises that teach quick thinking, staying in character and learning stage blocking. It’s appropriate for both newbies and kids with prior stage experience. It runs Wednesdays 1/17-2/21 with enrollment due by Fri 1/12.

A similar class for grades 3-5 runs Monday nights 1/22-2/26 with enrollment due by Thu 1/18.

Both are $90 for all six classes or $20 a week. Go here to learn more or register.
