Wandering Aesthetics Share Seasonal Songs and Stories at the Akron Children’s Museum

Wed 12/20-Sat 12/23 @ 11:30AM

Akron ensemble the Wandering Aesthetics specializes in theater based on storytelling — in all its permutations, from adults-only to child-friendly.

It’s the latter, of course, that they’ll be bringing to the Akron Children’s Museum as a pre-Christmas treat. The program, Gifts of Winter, is advertised as “holiday-inspired” and of course “family-friendly,” just long enough to engage young attention spans. Storytellers Kyle Jozsa and Nici Romo will entertain the audience with classic winter-themed songs and stories, including The Elves and the Shoemaker, Jingle Bells and The Gift of the Magi.

They’ll perform Wednesday-Saturday morning at the downtown Akron museum’s Multi-Purpose Room. Admission is $10 per family. You can make reservations by calling 330-396-6103.
