Turns out good breeding, obedience and poise really do count for something in Cleveland — at the Crown Classic Dog Show, now in year 27.
It happens at the I-X Center near Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport. Vendors and a public “Meet the Breed” familiarizes visitors with the various types of dogs, and local animal rescue organizations representing for adoption.
But most of you come for judging and trials, which begin every day at 8am, in multiple classes and breeds (a multitude of clubs and kennels, catering to dobermans, danes, huskies, poodles and collies, among others, are in it with all four feet).
Public admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $4 for ages 4-11. Children under 4 get in free.
