One of the most eagerly anticipated shows in the Voices in the Valley series at Peninsula’s historic G.A.R. Hall is Sisters in Song. It combine the talents of four notable Cleveland-area musicians The front line is longtime blues vocalist Becky Boyd, blue/rock vocalist/guitarist/trumpet player Kristine Jackson and alt country/Americana singer/pianist Rachel Brown. They’re joined by Emma Shook, whose day job is violinist with the Cleveland Orchestra, to give them some musical support.
On stage, the three ladies trade songs and swap stories, joke around and interact with one another in a way that can produce special and unexpected poignant moments.
