There’s a special treat in store this month for the tots who comes to the regular Musical Rainbow programs sponsored by the Cleveland Orchestra in the Reinberger Chamber hall at Severance Hall.
Instead of focusing on an instrument and what it sounds like and what it can do, kids can sing along with a quintet of brass musicians, including some players from the Cleveland Orchestra, playing familiar holiday carols, and get themselves a (probably unneeded) dose of excited anticipation for Christmas. Mary Ann Nagel hosts as usual, and they are promising a ‘special guest.” Hmmmm…I wonder if he has a long white beard and will be wearing a red suit?
