CPT’s Dark Room Is a Chance for Writers to Test Drive a New Play, Poem or Narrative

Tue 12/12 @ 7:30PM

The Dark Room, held at the Church on the Cleveland Public Theatre campus the second Tuesday of each month, is a slightly different kind of “open mic.” It’s aimed at writers and performers of all types and levels of eperience, looking to try out a play, poem, novel excerpt or any other kind of written material on an open-minded audience.

Since it’s also part of CPT’s New Play Development program, playwrights may bring up to 10 pages of material to test drive, with actors cast on the spot from whoever shows up that night.

Sign-up starts at 7:15 and readings begin at 7:30pm. It’s free although donations are accepted.
