For Jewish families who don’t have an established home-based Hanukkah tradition or just want to try something a little different and meet new people, and for non-Jewish people who want to learn about the traditions of this holiday, the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is hosting a Hanukkah Candle Lighting on the first night of the eight-day holiday.
Join in singing popular Hanukkah songs (“Hanukkah O Hanukkah” and “The Dreidel Song” are sure to be among them), learn how to play the dreidel game, hear the Hannukkah story and have some cookies.
