The Cleveland POPS Orchestra Will Be Rocking & Rolling at Severance Hall on New Year’s Eve

Sun 12/31 @9PM

By now, you can set your calendar by it: The Cleveland POPS Orchestra is back at Severance Hall to ring in the New Year for the 22nd year.

This year the ensemble’s colorful and entertaining leader, clarinetist Carl Topilow, will lead the ensemble in a two-hour program called Legends of Rock and Roll, featuring beloved rock tunes from the 50s-70s by performers such as Elvis Presley, the Four Seasons, the Beatles and Billy Joel. Handling the vocals will be the versatile Connor Bogart O’Brien, a northeast Ohio native who has previously collaborated with the Cleveland POPS, as well as performed at major venues all over the region and internationally on cruise ships.

After the concert ends at 11pm, there will be dancing until 1am to live bands in two different areas of Severance Hall, with Topilow and a group of Cleveland POPS Orchestra members playing in the Grand foyer, and the No-Name Band playing rock & roll in the Smith Lobby.

Tickets range from: $33-$117. Call the Severance Hall box office at 216-231-1111 or go to ClevelandPOPS.
