Retired Cleveland Orchestra Clarinetist Franklin Cohen Plays for Arts Renaissance Tremont

Sun 11/19 @ 3PM

How can we miss you if you won’t go away? I guess we won’t be missing Franklin Cohen, principal clarinet emeritus of the Cleveland Orchestra. He retired from that august body two years ago but he’s been busier than ever, both with ChamberFest Cleveland which he founded with his daughter Diana six years ago and gigs here there and everywhere around town.

Next up, he’ll be appearing on the Arts Renaissance Tremont concert series at Pilgrim Church. He’ll be joined by pianist Zsolt Bognar for a program of music by Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, Gabriel Fauré, Francis Poulenc and Mieczyslaw Weinberg.

The concert is free.
