Praxis Fiber Workshop Holds Holiday Party Benefit

Sat 12/2 @ 6-9PM

Since opening in 2015, Praxis Fiber Workshop has been a major asset to the Waterloo Arts District, offering fiber artists and those interested in learning about weaving and other fiber-based crafts a place to work and exhibit what they make.

Its large, inviting workspace is crammed with dozens of looms, rescued from the Cleveland Institute of Art (where Praxis founder/executive director Jessica Pinsky also teaches) when they disbanded their weaving department.

Now Praxis is having its second annual holiday benefit to support its work. The event will feature catered food by April Thompson, a keg of Christmas ale along with wine and other beverages, a silent auction and penny raffle, music by Al Moses and what they are promising is “the best fiber decoration all year.”

Tickets are $35.
