Charles Hill Jr. Releases Single to Benefit Puerto Rico @ Survival Kit Gallery

Fri 11/17 @ 9PM

Local acoustic folk/alt country singer/songwriter Charles Hill Jr. has made some new music and done a good deed.

He’s recorded a single “Little Buddy”/If I could Fly,” a stripped-down voice-and-guitar performance recorded straight to lacquer by Clint Holley and Dave Polster at the Earnest Tube studio. In addition to the regular version, he’s pressing 25 handmade limited-edition singles via Cleveland’s art-vinyl pressers Wax Mage. All proceeds are going to benefit the relief efforts in Puerto Rico.

To celebrate, Hill will be performing with Al Moss and Mike Allan at the Survival Kit Gallery on the top floor of 78th Street Studios. Brandon Scheel and Clint Holley open. The show is free, so you have no excuse not to buy a record.
