This week, Lakewood’s LEAF Community weekly farmers market grows out of its skin and becomes its annual Harvest Festival, with more offerings and special events than the average Thursday.
There’ll be plenty of food, of course, both stuff to take home including produce baked goods and value-added products, and prepared food such as stews and soups to eat right there. There’ll as be crafts vendors, live music and kids’ activities including the virtually inevitable face painting.
It takes place at the Lakewood Public Library, and it’s free.
