Lakewood Leaders and Entrepreneurs Do PechaKucha-Style Evening at Around the Corner

Thu 9/21 @ 6:30PM

The PechaKucha format, where a group of movers and shakers shares their work and/or ideas via a presentation based on 20 slides each shown for 20 minutes, has become a popular thing with organizations of all types.

So the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce is presenting “Tell Us Your Story powered by PechaKucha,” where community and business leaders will tell their stories using that format. Lakewood High School house principal Yakoob Badat, KB Confections owner Karen Bosworth, Seize the Day owner Diane Helbig, Cardboard Helicopter CEO Tim Hayes, Salt restaurant owner Jessica Parkison, Lakewood Public Library manager Judy Grzybowski and Mary Ann Stropkay, SVP/Chief Revenue Officer at First Federal Lakewood will talk about how they ended up where they are and doing what they do.

The program takes place at Around the Corner, where you can order a drink and some food to enjoy while taking in the free program.
