The Grog Shop has been a mainstay in Cleveland Heights’ Coventry Village since 1992. Stop in this week to celebrate their 25th anniversary with them, as they host a series of the kind of shows that made this room one of the area’s premiere showcase clubs.
On Wed 9/20, the headliner is Los Angeles math rockers El Ten Eleven. On Thu 9/21 it’s seminal emo band from the ’90s the Get Up Kids. Rootsy Indiana rockers Murder by Death stop in on Fri 9/22 and punk-based Ted Leo and the Pharmacists return on Sat 9/23. The week culminates on Sun 9/24 with Cleveland’s own Cloud Nothings, who have attained international fame on the indy rock circuit.
