Cloud Nothings Come Back Home to Celebrate the Grog Shop’s 25th Anniversary

Sun 9/24 @ 9PM

Cloud Nothings have come a long way since Dylan Baldi started the group as a one-man project in his parents’ basement in Westlake while he was a student at Case Western Reserve University some eight years ago.

Since then, he’s created a real band — now a quartet — to fulfill his increasingly more poppy and less lo-fi indie rock-style musical ideas, and released four studio albums on Carpark Records including Life Without Sound, released earlier this year. Carpark also release a Cloud Nothings live album Live at the Grog Shop in 2012.

Fittingly, the band is back at the Grog Shop to put the capstone on its 25th anniversary celebration. Chromesthetic and Street Gurgler open. Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door.
