As usual, the Cleveland Classical Guitar Society opens its season with its annual showcase of local guitarists, the perfect introduction to this type of music, before it begins its 9th annual International Series on 10/14.
The theme of this year’s concert is “Creativity and Community,” and the roster of performers, assembled from the huge number of talented local classical musicians, illustrates it well. They include Jeremy Collins, Stephen Aron from of Oberlin Conservatory, and the flute & guitar duo of Linda White an Robert Gruca, both faculty members at the Music Settlement. The theme of the concert is “Creativity and Community,”
The concert takes place at Plymouth Church in Shaker Heights. It’s free.
