If you are looking to move beyond Ritz and Kraft … like WAY beyond … come on out to the Countryside Barn in Peninsula to a cheesescaping workshop with Kari Moore of Le Cracker, which makes crackers from stone-milled Ohio grains and offers select artisan Ohio cheeses by special order.
She’ll talk about local cheeses and how to create a well-rounded cheese board using them. There will be sampling! She will help participants create their own cheeseboards, with up to three cheese selections and four accompaniments included in the class fee of $30; more will be available for purchase. Participants should bring a board or platter approximately 10 x 14. Reservations are essential. Go here.
